karen's doodles freebie i received turned into a card...
This is a card i made for a members challenge over on craftycardscrappers.... we are doing a monochrome challenge... i decided to use pink... as this little fairy has to be coloured in pink.... and i have also glittered her wings... parts of her dress and her bobbles and shoes....lol.... i made the flower myself after following a tut on http://scrappyfairy.blogspot.com/2010/01/new-directions-and-quick-flower-how-too.html
this card came together so easily... and apart from the fact i am not a pink person... i do like they way it has turned out... I am also puttin this into the secret crafter(sat challenge) as it is also monochromatice... http://thesecretcraftersaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/

Awesome flower and totally adorable card :)
Delightful! & that flower is fabulous - you should do pink more often - you're good at it :) xxx
Hi Karen, you asked about the paper/card I use for distressing. If I'm colouring in distress inks I use Fabriano Classico 5, it's not cheap but goes a long, long way. If I'm using Copics I use Bristolboard and both can be bought at Ken Bromley Art Supplies. Your local art shop could possibly sell them. I find the Fabriano is easier to distress than the Bristolboard. They are both different to work with Bristol Board need far less ink on your sponge than Fabriano. Hope this helps, just ask if you need anymore info.
Great card, love the cute, beautifully coloured little fairy, and great work on the flower.
