Sorry i havent been on for a little while... life has taken over... lol

hi everyone
sorry i havent posted for a little while... life kind of took over and i didnt have 5 mins to do anything...!!!! i think mojo also took a holiday without asking permission 1st.... lol

but i am back and i have done a card for susie and vikki's christmas challenge... Sam my friend from crafty card scrappers forum... and the owner of http://www.cardstitching.co.uk/webshop/ sent me some wonderful stamps for winning her challenge on the forum... so i had a play with one of them 2day...!!!! she is snoesjes from marianne design and i just love her.... i have coloured her with my promarkers... and added some glitter.... i have cut into my, my mind eye christmas glitter book... i bought it christmas just gone... and i have drolled over it long enough now...!!! i used 2 seperate sheets... and yes i did sit down while cutting into them.... lol...!!!! i added some ribbon and a snowflake embelishement... i made this into an easel card... as i love the way they look...

Whats on my desk Wednesday....!!! and card 2....

Well everyone i have been meaning to play along with this day for ages now.... and today i have the day off so i have taken a couple of pics of whats on my desk....

As you can see not a lot of space on my desk... had a major crafty day on monday.. and have not tidied up yet... lol... and my stamps i bought of my friend Sam arrived yesterday... and needed played with today.... so this is whats been on my desk.... here is my finished card... think may have to try and find some challenges for it as i love the way this has turned out....!!!!!

 i have distressed the paper 1st then stamped the image on top... added gold glamour glitter on edges.. sentiment is off computer then distressed... googled the map printed out and distressed this also... i used versamark on stamp to make a background on the brown cardstock and used my pearlex to highlight the image in gold.......

Christmas Easel card.....!!!!

I have made this card to go into 2 christmas challenges.... i have used a penny black christmas critters stamp... used my oval nesties... papers are from a kit from qvc that i have had for years... embelishments are off create and craft... from years and years ago... sentiment on the bottom is from the £1 got them at christmas time just gone....coloured with promarkers...

Card i have made with my new Pink gem stamps... for thread-bares shop

i have stamped this pink gem image onto craft card from S.u. i coloured her with promarkers... and added chalk round the outside of the image.. i have used a white gel pen to do a faux stitch detail round the edge.. one day i will do a real stitched edge... i used papers from http://summertimedesigns.blogspot.com/ and i distressed the edges with tim holtz distressing inks... added ribbon and sentiment from pink gems ..

Blue and Silver....Christmas card....

I made this card with my magnolia stamp... i used papermania papers i got not this christmas but last... they go on for ever.... and i love the colours....i coloured the image in with water colour pencils and distressed the papers and used distress ink on the edge of the main image..... added snowflake embelishment and a couple of little gems 2....

i have made this card to day with a download from Pixie dust studio... i download this brill image about 1 hour ago... i knew what i wanted to do with this card straight away as soon as i saw the image..... i have made a easel card... i have used papers from pink petticoat... and the ribbon is out of my stash... i coloured with promarkers.... i mounted image onto acertate... so it dangles... will try and show this in another picture.....

Sugar and spice on stamptacular sunday challenge

Here is a card i have made with my new The greeting farm stamp.. this is my 1st every stamp i have got from this company.. i have a couple of the downloads but never had the stamps and i am impressed with them.. they are wonderful to work with... i got mine from bunny zoe's site...along with the raffie and the hat pins... the papers are from my collection of goodies i have had for a little while.. i coloured my image with promakers and used my martha steward punch along the bottom of the papers...

Sweet stampin challenge this week is its a mans world

Its a mans world is over on sweet stampin challenge... i love this stamp... i have just gettin him last week from bunny zoe's site... she has a wonderful shop...!!! i could just spend and spend in there...!!!! lol.. the papers are from all about the boys stack from DCWV kids got me them for mothers day..!!! used glitter card on the back.. and some silver stuff from stash...!!! i have not added sentiment yet as i am not sure if it will be a birthday card or fathers day card yet....

A christmas card for Susie's and Vikki's christmas club

This is my 1st christmas card of 2010... i am entering it into susie's and vikki's christmas card club... this week it is reindeer ... so i dug out my papermania set i got the other year and used it... the main background paper is from nitwit collections... the ribbon i got years ago... think it was thread-bares shop... snowflakes i have had for a while.. and brown paper i think is a my mind eye leftover i had.... i used water colour pencils to colour image in and i have glittered some of the image....

I am puttin this card into friday sketch challenge... i loved followin the sketch... it was so easy to do... the papers are from Dovercraft masculine pack.. same with the ribbon... the image is from the greeting farm its the boy from the happy day set...
i have coloured him with distressinks... and added a little bit of glitter round the edge of my oval nestie... the button is from a pack from years ago form create and craft...!!! they are that old it was when allan and barry where doing the shows.... lol...!!!!

I decided to make this an easel card and followed a lot of the sketch threw to the underside of the card....

1st time i have done a sassy designs challenge

This is the very 1st time i have gettin round to doing a sassy designs challenge... this one is spring... now i love this design aint he just the sweetest little thing...!!!! i have used some my mind eye paper... martha steward punch... used my promarkers to colour the little fellow in... the string i have had for ages... the tag i have had for ages 2.... i have kept the design very simple as i dont like over doing boy cards..

It feels like i have not posted for ages... i have had an eye infection... and not to do things by half... i got it in both my eyes... so i couldnt do much for over 2 weeks...gggrrr
Here are 2 cards i have made with my new sweet pea stamps i ordered from America... i have used my martha steward punch on the 1st card and used shades of purples to colour with... using watercolour pencils .... i have also added glitter 2 the butterfly....background papers is from dovercraft....
the 2nd card is coloured with promarers... background papers are from Dovercraft...i followed Sue's sketch on craftycardscrappers... i love this sketch it was fun to follow....Got one more stamp to use from my sweet pea collection... i so need some more of these to add 2 my little collection of 3 so far....lol
